Daily reflections: Monday: November 17/14

Gospel: Luke 18:35... Jesus is walking along the road and he hears a blind man calling out to him, “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me”. Some of the crowd told blind man to be signed. However, Jesus always attentive to those who are suffering heard the blind man call out in his distress and so Jesus ordered the blind man to be brought to him. Jesus asked the blind man; “what do you want me to do for you? ”The man said, “Lord, that may see again”. Apparently, this man had eyesight loss that eyesight and became blind so he knew what I was to see. Jesus said to him, “receive your sight; your faith has saved you”and the man regains his sight. Notice here that Jesus did not do anything except bring the man and was present, allowing him to feel the compassion of Jesus, and Jesus points out very clearly that the healing is a result of the man\'s faith nothing Jesus did.

Reflection: what are your thoughts on the notion that it was the man\'s faith and not Jesus who restored his sight?

Prayer Lord Jesus, this man stepped out in faith and trust that his prayer would be answered and it was. I pray for that kind of faith which will enable me to put my deepest trust in God in every difficult situation. A man
